- An Audit module enables very specific
evaluation of an entire website for various criteria, including
consistency in look and feel, accessibility, disclaimers, copyrights
and trademarks, content depth and spelling and grammar. The audit
criteria are customizable, as are success conditions. Individual
page results are tracked to individual pages for fault correction.
Individual fields and reports are customizable.
Audits have been completed for sizable government agencies. One
example provided specific analysis of over 10,000 pages associated
with a single web site. The audit was completed in less than
three weeks with 100% of the pages evaluated against stringent
criteria. Content was evaluated and the very few pages present
inconsistent with stated expiration dates were removed. Compliance
with usability requirements was evaluated and pages out of compliance
were flagged for quick correction. Overall web site quality was
enhanced by the audit.
